If you’ve ever looked at joining Scentsy, chances are you’ve wondered the same thing:

From my own experience, Scentsy income can range from a little extra spending money each month to a full-time income — but it completely depends on:
How much effort you’re willing to put in
How consistently you show up
How you promote your business
Whether you focus only on sales or also build a team
And how long you stick with it
There isn’t a magic number, and there definitely isn’t “easy money.” Why I Joined Scentsy... I originally joined Scentsy when I packed up my last job and needed something to help pay the bills.

Connecting with people through Facebook
Hosting parties (which I absolutely loved)
Building relationships with customers Interestingly, it wasn’t really friends and family who supported me most. A lot of my customers were people who simply saw me showing up consistently online.
That’s something many new consultants don’t realise.
The Truth About Making Money With Scentsy
A huge misconception is that you can join Scentsy, post a few photos on Facebook, and suddenly start earning loads of money.
That’s not reality.
It’s not easy to:
Advertise effectively on Facebook
Get people to host parties
Consistently attract customers
Build trust online
Grow a loyal customer base
Recruit and support a team
There’s real work involved.
Like any business, it takes:
Commitment
Consistency
Patience
A strategy
And the willingness to keep going even when sales are slow.
How My Business Grew
Over the years, my customer base steadily increased.
The more parties I did and the more visible I became online, the more repeat customers I gained. That consistency became the foundation of my business.
I also built a team. ( That gave me another stream of income every month)
Like many direct sellers, COVID changed things massively, and my team grew and then sadly dwindled during that time. But now it’s beginning to grow again, which has reminded me that businesses go through seasons.
Some months are incredible....Some months are slower.....Some seasons require rebuilding.
That’s normal.
So… Is There a Limit to What You Can Earn?
Realistically, no.
The earning potential depends largely on:
How much time you dedicate
Whether you treat it casually or like a real business
How strong your customer relationships are
And whether you choose to build a team
Some consultants use Scentsy for:
A few hundred pounds extra each month
Paying household bills
Funding holidays or Christmas
Replacing part-time income
Or building a substantial long-term business
But the consultants earning the most are usually the ones treating it like a business — not a hobby.
You will get out of your business what you put into building it...more returns from more effort!
My Honest Opinion
Scentsy can be a fantastic opportunity.
But I think it’s important to be honest about what it takes.
Success doesn’t happen because you bought a starter kit.It happens because you:
keep showing up,
keep learning,
keep connecting with people,
and stay consistent even when growth feels slow.
For me personally, the biggest reward hasn’t just been the income.
It’s been:
the flexibility,
the friendships,
that I can create a business I can build and pass on to my daughter
the confidence it gave me,
and the fact that I built something of my own from scratch.
And honestly? I have loved every minute of my journey!
